For families
What does it cost?
The creator's package price plus a 10% service fee. You see the total before you send a request.
When am I charged?
Only after the creator accepts. You then have 48 hours to pay in full and confirm the booking. Creators answer within 48 hours.
What if it rains?
Weather and lighting aren't grounds for a refund if the game is played. If the game is cancelled before your creator leaves, you get a full refund. If it's called off after they arrive, you get 80% back and the creator keeps a 20% show-up fee.
What if the game is rescheduled?
Your booking moves to the new date for free. If your creator can't make the new date, you get a full refund. Tell your creator in messages as soon as you know.
What if my athlete doesn't play or gets hurt?
Playing time isn’t guaranteed. If your athlete doesn’t play, your creator delivers what they captured and the booking is paid in full. If you report an injury before your creator leaves for the game, the booking moves to a future game at no cost.
How do I get my photos?
Your creator uploads them to a private gallery on Pitchside within the delivery time in your package. On team and season packages, each family sees their own athlete.
How do approvals and edits work?
You have 72 hours after delivery to approve it, ask for edits or report a problem. With no response, the delivery is approved. Asking for edits pauses the clock.
Can I cancel?
More than 48 hours before game time: full refund. 24 to 48 hours: 50%. Less than 24 hours: no refund.
What if the creator cancels or doesn't show?
You always get a full refund. If a creator doesn't show, you also get a $10–20 credit from Pitchside.
Are the reviews real?
Only families whose booking is complete can leave a review, one per booking. Creators can reply but cannot edit or remove them.
What does Verified mean?
Pitchside has checked the creator, for example their business page or the teams they shoot for.
Can I post the photos?
Yes. Personal use is included: social posts, family sharing, recruiting profiles. Paid brand or NIL use needs a separate license from your creator.
My athlete is under 18. Who books?
A parent or guardian books and gives photo consent as part of the booking. Athletes under 18 don't get their own account.
For creators
What does Pitchside cost?
Nothing. There is no monthly fee and no commission: you keep 100% of your package price. Families pay a 10% service fee on top.
When am I paid?
After the family approves the delivery, or automatically 72 hours after delivery if they don't respond. Payouts go to your bank through Stripe.
What do I need to publish?
Your name and link, your sports and town, some of your best work and at least one package.
Can I sell team or season packages?
Yes. Team packages cover a roster at one game, and season packages cover several games. Each family gets a gallery of their own athlete.
Can I set my own cancellation rules?
Not yet. Every booking follows the same booking policy, so families know what to expect from every creator.
Am I paid if the game is called off?
If a game is called off after you arrive, you keep a 20% show-up fee. If it is cancelled before you leave, the family gets a full refund.
How do I get the Verified badge?
Request it from your dashboard with something Pitchside can check, like a business page or a team you shoot for.
